Scrapbook layout | Wedding selfies
Hello!
I have this layout to share with you featuring the Crafty Templates March/April kit.
This kit was full of florals, corals and peaches and gorgeous copper accents. An ABSOLUTE DELIGHT to have this kit - if you want to see what was in this kit, I have a youtube video over on my channel.
I began this layout with a white 12 x 12 paper to which I backed the bow printed vellum paper from the Oh darling! collection by Dear Lizzy.
Fussily, I cut out the floral paper called Real (Be You collection by Pink Fresh Studios)so that it makes a frame. I popped it up on foam tape to give it dimension and so I can tuck in some pieces underneath if needed.
I layered my photo with the softer colours of the patterened papers that came in the kit. (field notes by 1 canoe 2 twilight collection, hugs and kisses by websters pages the good life collection)
From the Be You ephemera pack, I created this embellishment cluster that also doubles up as an interactive journaling spot.
With the flower pieces, I glued them on to a similar looking flower on the frame to make dimensional flowers and in blank parts, I added the leafy pieces.
The kit came with copper sequins which I used as "splatters", and the kit also came with fabric leatherette pieces and dimensional wood veneers which I used in this cluster.
The title matches my hijab on my photo to the T! it was from the puffy alphas by Pink Frest Studios, The Mix collection.
These alphas come in so many different colours - I love the size and font of these stickers!
I love how this layout turned out; although it took me a while to figure out where to position the photo and what to do with the floral wreath paper.
