Ramadan 2018 card series | Floral heart
Hello!
I haven't been making videos for a bit because frankly, I have been so busy with preparation for Ramadhan.
I am back and back with a Ramadan card series! Oooh - it will be a challenge to see how many I can make especially when I have only one Islamic stamp set. But, it will be combined with others to show you how versatile it can be.
The one Islamic set I have is called Ramadan Greetings and it is by Altenew.
Today's card is this clean and simple wreath card using the Neat and Tangled Floral Heart stamp set.
It was very easy to put together and this is how:
Using Extreme Black ink, stamp the floral image from the set onto white cardstock (preferably watercolour.)
I coloured in the image with Distress Markers in the colours; mowed lawn, peeled paint, mustard seed, worn lipstick, and candied apple using a water brush.
With the coordinating die, I cut out the inside and outside of the wreath.
Next, I heat-embossed the sentiment, Welcome Ramadan, in Hero Arts gold embossing powder. I used the Extra Sentiment die by Lawn Fawn to cut out the sentiment.
To create dimension, I added dimensional foam squares on the backs of both die cuts and glued it to a 5 1/4 x 4 1/2 cream card base.
Finally, I stamped inside the card with a prayer and finished the card with clear sequins (I love)
and that's it.
