Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #36 Fall Mood Board | Vintage Thanks A Latte

by - Friday, September 14, 2018

This is it, the last entry. Wow I have never done 4 cards for 1 challenge before. What a record!

So this is what I did for this card:

I took a coffee ring stamp and stamped it 6 times onto a textured ivory card base. The ink I used was LF walnut ink. To get a lighter shade of that ink, I just restamped without inking up the stamp again; so whatever is left on the stamp.

Next, I stamped the mug from Thanks A Latte and stamped it onto watercolour paper. I then stamped the leaf on the outside of the mug to create a pattern. The delicata ink wasn't waterproof so when i went to add some shading to the mug it smeared the leaves but I used it to my advantage and lightly spread it around to make a shimmery mug instead.

I added a moustache smiley, the frothy latte and then fussy cut it out and adhered onto the card base. Then, I white heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock, cut it up and glued it next to the mug on an angle. Finally, I added the steam to the back of the mug to complete this card.

The ivory of the card, the moustache of the smiley face and the brown colours give this card a vintage feel. I like it. A lot.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I really am happy to see you here.
xx
