Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 2 : Interactive!
Hi!
Lawn Fawnatics second challenge is already here and it's interactive! I got a tag to share with you:
I diecut 4 tags from the Tag, You're It Lawn Cuts;
- 3 from white card
- 1 from acetate
The 1st white card was used as backing. I ink blended and misted with water the 2nd tag; also cut a rectangle from this tag to create a window.
With the positive (the inner rectangle) I stamped some waves from Float my Boat and bubbles from Octupi My Heart; this piece I adhered to the 1st blank tag.
The 3rd white tag I also cut out a frame as I wanted to make sturdy the tag that was going to be on the top (I hope this makes sense ! )
After gluing the acetate to the tag with the window (2nd tag), I stamped the sentiment with Staz-On ink and put a frame of double stacked foam tape around the rectangle panel (1st tag). Filled the inside with clear beads and sequins and...
Here's where I improvised; I didn't have any sea animals except for an octupus but it was too large. So I saw the star from Shooting Star dies and used the smaller one to create a starfish. Lawn Fawn has plenty of faces in their stamps so I grabbed one and turned a plain star into a smiling star fish.
Coloured it with Spectrum Noirs and added details using a white gelly roll pen. It came out super cute!
...put the top piece on and it's done. Finished it off with an anchor tied on to grey trimmings.
The anchor is stamped in Hippo ink and heat embossed with grey metallic embossing powder. The ink partially dried so only some parts embossed but it came out nice and rusty. I die cut 2 anchors to stack on top of one another to make it stronger.

I left it to move around to make it even more interactive.
I really hope you like this as much as I do :)
