Do you wanna build a snowman?

There was a time where every little girl (well every girl I came across) was obsessed with Frozen. I didn't get it until I watched it and blubbered when Elsa saves Anna. Oh and the songs!

Recently, my daughter's love for Frozen has been rekindled after watching a few Youtube videos; probably of some random kid opening Frozen related toys or covers of "Let it go" and "Do you wanna build a snowman?"

I don't know where this idea came from but 99% it came from a stamp I saw on eBay:

I had to get it and thus began a frenzied bidding war on Frozen crafty products. In the end, I won 2 stamp sets, 2 embossing folders and 1 intricate die of Anna.

I can't wait to start using the rest of these products; here are a couple of things my daughter and I have made.

First, my daughters:

This is the debossed side of Elsa; to make it easier for her I outlined the grooves for her and let her get on it with and get on with it she did. May I add, she only had Staedtler colouring pencils to work with!

I tote-ally love what I made; had a blast making it. My littlest sister joined in and we both made a tote bag each. She copied me.

I cut out the bag using Hunkydory Scorable Card - I buy mine from Create and Craft

It's perfect because it is durable i.e not at all flipsy! Only thing is; it is coated so it doesn't work great with pigment inks because it will just sit on top of it.

I stamped these snowflakes that come from the Frozen stamp set with White Staz-On. God, this saved my life. Works wonderful!
Anna was stamped on to Strathmore Bristol Smooth Paper using Versafine black and coloured her in using distress markers.

I just wish I changed papers because I got this bloom on her dress. It developed just as I was finishing up and just couldn't start again, you know.

Custom-coloured the banner the same colour as Anna's cloak but with no water and stamped the sentiment on top of it.

It was hard deciding where to put Anna so in the end we decided to put her on the left and to prop the banner on some foam tape so her dress wasn't completely hidden.

That is it! Here's a close up:

* there are a few mistakes and a few things I could have done differently but how would I know, if I didn't make those mistakes, huh? *

I hope you liked this and thank you for sliding by!
